This post has been composed in order to extend my gratitude to Matsu’s esteemed Legislator Cao Er-jhung. He expended his time and effort on my behalf to extend my stay as an English teacher on Matsu. His efforts included convening a meeting between the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Education in Taipei to solve problems surrounding my employment and visa. He personally traveled from Matsu to Taipei to chair this meeting. He was motivated by a desire to promote students’ English education, and I am grateful for his trust in my ability to make a contribution to this.

向馬祖廣受敬重的曹委員爾忠致謝
為了向曹委員致意，特地張貼這篇文章。因為委員的努力本人這學期才能繼續待在馬祖中正國中小擔任英文老師。今年八月底，委員百忙之中親自奔波台馬之間，召集勞委會與教育部開會，解決聘僱及簽證問題。委員認同一個美國籍教師可以對馬祖的英語教育作出更大的貢獻，信任本人繼續任職有益於提升學生的英語教育水準。本人很高興地藉由馬祖資訊網表達謝意與敬意。
